Twice weekly pre-season training is to be held on Monday and Wednesdays starting on Monday 28 June, meeting at 6.45 pm for a 7.00 pm start.

u13 Colts head for France
10 June 2010: 

The u13 Colts have been given the honour of representing the town of Woodley in a tournament at Bruay La Buissiere, in the north of France (near Arras) which in addition to the host country includes teams from Germany and Poland.

The team leaves Friday 11 June and returns on Monday 14 June.

Good luck to all involved and have an enjoyable time.

14 May 2010: 

Congratulations to the u15 Whites on winning Division 1 of North East Hants Youth League last night by beating runners up California 2 - 1 thanks to two Billy Magetts' goals.

The team go for the double on Sunday 16 April when they play Aldershot Town Blues in the League Cup final.

Congratulations go to the u13 Blues on winning the BYDFL Plate 3 - 2 on penalties after a 1 - 1 draw against Reeves Rangers and the u15 Colts on winning the League Cup 3 - 0 against Divison One league champions Tadley Calleva.

Next up is the u15 Whites who play in the NEHYFL cup final on Sunday 16 May v Aldershot Town Blues.

Saturday 8 May sees the u13 Blues play Reeves Rangers in the BYDFL Plate final, ko 2.00 pm while the u15 Colts play Tadley Calleva in the BYDFL League Cup final on Sunday 9 May ko 4.00 pm.

25 April 2010: 

Congratulatons go to the u15 Whites on winning the BBFA Minor cup for the second time in three seasons.

Leading 2 - 1 at half time against Moretonville Juniors, the match went to extra time, where two second period goals from Billy Margetts gave the team a 4 - 2 victory.

Matt Brookling and Sam Foad were the other goal scorers.

The first of four matches in eight days saw the 1st team lose 4 - 2 at Slimbridge in the League Cup quarter finals.

The u7's have been presented with Berkshire Youth Development League's Most Improved Team of the Year award.

The u15 Whites are through to the County u15 Minor Cup final following a 5 - 2 win over holders Theale Tigers in today's semi final.
The final will be played at Finchampstead on 25 April at 11.00 am.

The Men's First team added to the list of cup success this week by returning from Hellenic Premier side Witney Utd on Thursday evening with a 4 - 2 win on penalty kicks.

02 March 2010: An excellent weekend for Kestrel teams led by the U18 Whites who beat California Royals 6-0 and U13 Whites who won 1-0 against Ascot Utd to represent the club in the East Berks Youth League Cup finals.

The U13 Whites followed this up on Sunday with a 9 – 2 win at Bedfont to win through to the semi final of the Slough & Windsor Open Challenge Trophy.

Also through to a semi final is the U15 Whites who beat Ascot Utd 3 – 1 on penalties in the BBFA u15 Minor Cup.

Finally the U13 Colts won their Berks Development Youth League Cup quarter final tie with Going Robins 4 – 3.

With Tuesday night's cup tie postponed due to snow, its third v fourth this Saturday as the League's two in form sides meet at East Park Farm with Holyport the visitors. All support is welcome.

Sunday sees the u15 Whites host Ascot Utd at Woodford Park in a BBFA Minor Cup quarter final tie. Kick off is 2.00 pm. Again all support is welcome.

A fourth successive win, on 6th February, for the First team sees them upto fourth place in the Hellenic League table.

The Reserves also recorded a much neeeded League win that sees them also upto fourth place in Reading Football League Divison One.

Saturday morning Berks Youth Development League fixtrues at Sol Joel, Reading Cricket & Hockey Club, Reading Activity Centre, Prospect Park and South Reading have been called off due to waterlogged pitches as have all matches this weekend at Cantley Park.

Pitt Excels To Lift Trophy
14 July 2009: The clubs inaugural golf day held at Billingbear Park on Saturday was won in true style by Jon Pitt who played well beyond himself to walk away six shots clear ahead of junior member Toby Roberts.
u9 Success
13 July 2009: 
Congratulations to Nick Edwards' u9 Whites team in winning the Woodley Wanderers u9 six a side tournament.

After a goalless final the team beat Kennett Valley two nil on penalties scored by Luke McEnoy and Ben Anderson.

At the same tournament the u12s lost their final 2 - 0 on penalties after a nil nil draw with Caversham AFC United.

The u15s also drew nil all with Woodley Wanderers Falcons in the Consolation final but went on to win 3 - 1 on penalties.

Congratulations go to the u13 Whites on winning their cup final 2 - 1, with two late goas against Bracknell Hammers, to complete a BYDL League and Cup double.

This was the only success of the weekend as both the Men's Reserve Team and "A" team lost the BTC Centre cup finals.

The club have three cup finals this weekend starting with the Men's "A" team playing Reading YMCA Rapids in the BTC Junior Cup at Reading Town FC on Friday 8th May, 7.30 pm ko.

Saturday see the Mens Reserve team visit Reading Town FC for a 2.00 pm ko against Highmoor Ibis Reserves in the BTC Intermediate Cup while the u13 Whites meet Bracknell Hammers in the BYDL Divison 1 final at Tadley FC, ko 1.30 pm.

Reading Football League Rep Team
14 April 2009: 
Nick Edwards, Carl Davies, Jim Nightingale and Craig Hiscock are all in the Rep Team squad to face Middx County League in FA Carlsberg National League System Cup at Yeading FC on 15 April 09, ko 7.30 pm.

Together with Andy managing the side, this is a tremendous honour for the club.

Reading Football League won 4 - 1 with Carl scoring the fourth goal.
Mad Stad Here We Come!
12 April 2009: 
Paul Wilder and Craig Beales were Town's heroes as the 1st team defeated Finchampstead 4 - 3 on sudden death penalties to reach the final of the Reading Challenge Senior Cup, to be played at the Madejski Stadium on 14 May 2009.
1st Team Cup Semi
10 April 2009: 
The Men's 1st team play the first of two cup semi finals this Saturday. They meet Finchampstead at Highmoor Ibis's ground, 2.00 pm ko, for the right to play in the final of the Reading Challenge Senior Cup Final at Madejski Stadium.

Another Cup Final
04 April 2009: 
The Men's Reserve Team made it a second final for the Men's section this year as they defeated Newtown Henley 3 - 2.

The Men's "A" team saw their hold on the Reading Challenge Jubilee Cup lost as they were defeated in the semi final 3 - 1 by Newbury Res.
Cup Weekend
01 April 2009: 
With the 1st team without a fixture, attention turns to the Men's Reserve and "A" teams who are both in cup semi final action.

The Reserves play Newtown Henley at Cookham Dean's; ground looking for their first BTC Intermediate cup final appearance.

The "A" team meet Newbury Reserves at Highmoor Ibis's ground as they continue their defence of the Reading Challenge Jubilee Cup.
Congratulations

Congratulations go to Stuart Cannon, Neil Wheeler, Stephen Moody and Tony Palmer on obtaining their FA Level 2 Coaching Certificates.

They join an already impressive list of coaches within the club.
Reading Half Marathon
26 March 2009: 
Good luck to Reserve team players, Andrew Holder, Michael Wesley and Richard Wallis and 1st teamer Jon Christopher in the half marathon on Sunday 29th March.
Maurice Watmore
25 March 2009: 
It is with regret that the death Maurice Watmore on 6 March 2009 is announced.

Maurice was a tremendous servant to the club who would be seen on match days helping the Men's teams and running the line into his early Seventies.

His funeral is on 26 March 2009 at Christ Church, Reading at 12.45 pm.

On behalf of the club, condolences are sent to his family.

20 March 2009: Saturday sees the u16 Whites play at Woodford Park in the League Cup semi final. Please make every effort to support the team.

It's league action for all the Men's teams with the 1st's playing their last home league game of the season before embarking on their four remaining away matches.

A Good Weekend
15 March 2009: 
Both the Men's 1st team and u16 Whites won to maintain top positions in their Leagues as we enter the cruicial stage of the season.

The Men's "A" team winning run came to an end while the Reserves secured a good point at Berinsfield while playing with ten men for eighty minutes.

Next Saturday sees the u16 Whites play at Woodford Park in the League Cup semi final. Please make every effort to support the team.
